A lot of well known films on the list, interesting.

1) Short Cuts - I don't rank it that high really, but I feel I should/need to see it again.

2) A Bronx Tale - Makes my list as well. De Niro really does a good job as a director here.

3) A Perfect World - I like Clint Eastwood and Kevin Costner. This is a solid movie, but it left me wanting a bit more.

4) Carlito's Way - I always enjoy watching this Brian De Palma film. It's one of the better ones in the genre.

5) Schindler's List - Classic Spielberg (he's not really a favorite, but did make some classics) with a very well told story.

6) Cronos - I liked some parts of this fantasy/horror, but it didn't quite work for me. My feeling was that it should've been better.

7) What's Eating Gilbert Grape - Has it's good parts and some good acting, but I don't really feel for many of the characters.

8) Red Rock West - Was a long time ago that I saw this one, but I remember it being ok to pretty good. Don't remember much of it so a rewatch might be in order.

9) The Fugitive - One of my favorites of the year. It always drags me in and doesn't let go when I start watching it. That's what a good movie does.

10) In the Line of Fire - Always up for a Clint Eastwood film. This one also has a very strong performance by John Malkovich that I really enjoy.

A good list for sure. Pretty much the only ones I miss are Groundhog Day and Falling Down. Though This Boy's Life (De Niro/DiCaprio) and The Age of Innocence (Day-Lewis/Pfeiffer) are also worth mentioning.
